The new apartment embraces a Japanese wood-grain and Zen-inspired style. Warm gray tones a peaceful, stable atmosphere, transforming the lively spirit and imagination of a family of four into a secret haven reminiscent of a tree hollow. In the foyer, semi-glazed hexagonal tiles with a moss-like texture hint at an entrance into a world of dappled, leafy greens. At the front, a curved, arc-shaped structure forms the trunk, serving as a display for children’s collections or awards, with its organic curves artfully echoing branches that extend in all directions. Each door is finished with rounded edges to reinforce the concept of “interconnected branches,” ensuring the space remains visually cohesive and gentle.
Additionally, a climbing wall has been integrated along one side of the main “trunk,” providing children with their dedicated area for play and exploration while offering adults a touch of nostalgic romance for this secret retreat. Just as a forest is formed from the interlacing of strong, resilient trees, this home grows and flourishes through the bond of family, where parents and children together lasting memories.
